Nova Scotia's most iconic bouldering destination. A granite island 1 km offshore, featuring diverse mix of climbing on tall coastal walls. Accessible by boat only.

Seasons

Dover is the very best in the spring. Limited shade make it more of a beach destination in the summer, but it is a great camping destination and remains very popular for lounging on pads and hiding under overhangs. Fall is challenging due to big surf which often sprays the island.

Drive 47 min
Approach 1 - 18 mins
