In the early 2000's blurry night vision videos burst onto the scene with the infamous 1 Night in Paris. Limited by camera technology and chasing temps, Mobeta jumped on the bandwagon with blurry night videos blasting EDM / gangster rap defining the era.

Billabong V4 was especially difficult to capture since the LED floods couldn't reach the top of this bold line, and in a classic growler session move, Smizzle forgot to turn on his headlamp.

Fast forward to 2019, and Billabong is still one of the best V4 boulders in NS, but camera technology has drastically improved. Great moves, excellent holds, perfect landing and the balancy crux that is high enough to be fun without crossing over into terrifying. The topout is secure and relaxed. Moore's law has made grainy night videos obsolete, but homemade bouldering pads will never go out of fashion.
